My Aviva life

I have been doin various things to earn money ever since my college got over.. my tcs call was gettin late and i was not able to sit silent in my home.. 

tried workin on a freelance kinda job.. it basically involved typin.. like if i type 240 pages i would get money based on my accuracy.. maximum amount i can earn was 7000 if i hav 90% accuracy.. thought it was easy money and went for it.. but i was seriously wrong abt it.. i typed all day n night.. i kept on typin typin most of june.. no movies, no outings, no novels and i was busy typin all the pages..  i became very restless as i had a deadline to meet.. sent some of those pages to my friends and told them to type.. couldn check the errors in it bcos of lack of time n laziness.. after all the confusions sent the file to them only to be totally rejected with zero payment a week later.. since my accuracy was less than 70% there was no payment.. it came as a rude shock.. couldn digest the fact that a whole month has gone waste.. 

then started searchin for some jobs wit frnds.. all turned out to be BPO's and all night shifts.. i was not ready to be awake the whole night.. i dint want to change my 21yr old habit of sleepin at night for a matter of  3 months.. i also dint like the state of BPO's.. the poor part was when i was sittin in HCL BPO and they gave me a sheet and told to write my reference for would be interested in joinin them..  i stopped with BPO's from then on.. 

on one fine day after visiting some bank consultancy i got a call from my friend sayin there is a company in adyar which gives 10,000 per month for workin 2 hrs over the net daily.. i had butterflies flyin in my stomach as i could work from my home and do wat ever i wish.. i immediately made my way to the office located in the first floor of the ICICI bank over there.. and it turned out of be AVIVA Life Insurance!!!! ( that was when i remembered Sachin on TV endorsing for the same )

had a brief stint with a guy over there and he refered me to another guy and said he will be ur guide.. His name was Immanuel Francis.. he explained the entire structure of the job and also the benefits invloved.. a little over 90min.. i was appointed spontaneously.. 

My job- to give financial solutions to people on how to tackle inflation and also safeguard their investments.. So became a FPA-Financial Planning Advisor on june 30th.. 

for the first few days dint knew the nature of the job.. my friends and uncles said its goin to be a comedy.. but i dint let those affect me.. 

i jus needed some place to learn new things which would do some good for my future.. basically i m very much interested in marketin a product.. the job turned out to be my piece of cake.. 

i aspire to be a successful businessman and investments are the pivotal point of it..  i love my office there.. basically its not like a workplace at all n its always fun there.. The sales managers over there r very friendly n give valuable ideas based on their experience.. the 3 months i spent were a perfect learnin phase for me.. and wat more i was able to balance my work with my favorite movies and novels and blogs.. 

 

suddenly my days were totally packed.. i used to blog in the mornings.. leav for office durin the day.. read novels durin my 40min odd bus travel.. spend the whole day there.. go for movies and lunch wit my manager, Mr.Immanuel... then again at night another film and blogging.. it came a cycle for me..

Its time to give a special note about my manager, Immanuel sir.. his name is my most recited word in recent times.. he is my new guru.. he is a man of great personality and i cherish every moment being with him.. he is such a fun to be with.. very knowledged person too.. he nos in n out about all the insurance companies on field.. he taught me the various investment options available and the potential benefits involved with each of it..

i met many new people n gained on-field experience.. got many bulbs too!!!

hmmm.. my manager was there to boost my morale as always!!! 

i kept myself occupied and tats wat i wanted.. i wanted to make money.. the long process jus std and i was very happy abt it.. and i totally enjoyed the things i were doin for it.. 

i only wished that TCS doesnt call me sooner!!!!
