A movie from AAMIR is always special.. not bcos it comes once in 2 yrs but the impact it makes on u is such that it stays on forever..
his latest flick "Taare zameen par" will definitely topple many previous such films on the genre "Differently abled kids"..
Without ur notice tears keep pouring down ur cheeks only to find that u have the entire audience for company.. The kid "Ishaan" and his fairy art teacher "Nikum" take u on a spell bound journey and unearth a spectacle on screen..
No candy floss romance.. no rib tickling comedies.. no skin exposure.. no melodrama.. no action sequences.. still its soul stirring.. its somethin out of the box.. such a meaningful film amidst all ruins.. somethin extra special.. somethin out of this world!!!
A lesson which r tamil "family" directors like Perarasu, Vikraman must learn.. Jus making the audience cry using buckets of glycerine alone is not sentiment.. they must take a leaf out of his box..
Aamir makes u smile even when you are in tears.. hats off to him.. apart from dyslexia he has also exposed our poor educational system which is so pedantic and lacks practicality.. and also the difference a mentor can make by identifying the special talents which one possessess..
To bring tears without any melodramatic sequences definitely take a lot of guts from u.. not many can do that.. Aamir is a truly exceptional film maker..
Havent seen it yet??? heard the story already?? oh come on!!! thats ok!! better late than never.. there r some movies which u must never miss.. Never mind to spend 120 bucks for this movie coz its worth more than that!!!!!!
Many times i thought my blog missed a movie review and i feel happy now it all had waited to boast about "Taare Zameen Par".. I would rate it 100 on a 10 point scale..
